Thailand Dive Map is independently maintained. We turn official sources and clearly labelled planning examples into practical starting points, without presenting seasonal guidance as a live forecast.

Who is responsible

Authorship and accountability

Guide bylines use the organization name Thailand Dive Map. We do not invent named reviewers, credentials, or automatic freshness dates.

A visible “Last reviewed” date changes only after a substantive source and content review. Page rebuilds do not change that date.

Found a stale date, broken source, or unsupported statement? Report an editorial correction.

Evidence standards

How sources are selected and used

Each cited source should support the claim beside it—not a broader claim that the source never makes.

Prefer primary Thai government sources for weather, marine, and national-park status.
Label tourism-planning examples as travel guidance, not proof of dive visibility or sea state.
Use operator information for current schedules and availability, while keeping editorial conclusions independent.
State uncertainty when a seasonal pattern cannot predict conditions on a specific day.

Limits

Planning guidance is not a safety clearance

Monsoon windows and historical park schedules are useful context, but they cannot replace current conditions.

Before booking or boarding, check the current Thai Meteorological Department marine forecast, the latest national-park notice, and the operator’s boat and site status. Follow local authorities and your qualified dive professional when conditions change.
