Thailand dive industry insights for shop owners
See which destinations are converting best, where content gaps still hurt performance, and which shop details matter most before divers contact an operator.
What you can update
Use the owner form to request changes to your shop profile. Typical updates include:
- • Address & map location
- • Website and social links
- • Phone / contact details
- • Languages spoken
- • Certification agencies
- • Course list & starting prices
- • Facilities (boats, pool, gear, extras)
- • Teaching style / max student ratio
- • Google Maps link / Place ID
- • Any other important notes for divers
Ranking transparency still comes first
The owner console helps you submit accurate data, but it doesn’t change how listings rank. Thailand Dive Map stays independent—no paid boosts or hidden deals.
If “Featured” labels ever launch, they’ll be clearly separated from organic results and documented here before rollout.
What influences organic ranking
- • Google rating & review count
- • Completeness of shop information
- • Match with diver filters (beginner, tech, languages)
- • Relevance to the region being searched
What does not influence ranking
- • No private deals or hidden boosts
- • No manual adjustments for individual shops
- • No influence from advertising or partnerships
- • Optional “Featured” slots (if added later) will not affect organic ranking
The strongest way to improve visibility is maintaining accurate data and consistent, high-quality diver reviews.
